🏷️ Category A and A+ Explained
Category A Credit:
Approved by a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (RCEEM).
Awarded for general continuing education activities.
Category A+ Credit:
Specifically for Registered Radiologist Assistants (RRAs).
Must relate to clinical activities defined in the R.R.A. role delineation.
Only approved by organizations recognized for A+ evaluation by ARRT. All X-RAY CE courses are approved by an ARRT-recognized RCEEM and are valid for CE credit.
🔄 Can I Complete the Same Course Again?
You cannot repeat the same self-learning CE course within the same biennium for credit.
Some courses may be available in multiple formats or by different CE sponsors.
Always check ARRT’s policy on repeating activities.
📤 Do You Report My CE Activity to ARRT?
No, you must report your CE credits to the ARRT yourself.
ARRT will send a CE report form with your renewal application.
Keep your certificate of completion in a safe place in case of audit.

These labels indicate whether the course is directly related to ionizing radiation, per Texas CE requirements.
